About the course:

At this stage the student will be able to introduce himself, to get acquainted, to tell about himself, about his family, hobbies in a nutshell, to understand the interlocutor if he speaks slowly and also to repeat what he said.

Grammar level

• Gender and number of nouns and adjectives, their agreement in nominative case.
• Category of animate and inanimateness.
• Case system of nouns and adjectives (the most frequent meaning of each case)
• A small set of adjectives.
• Verb infinitive
• Verb conjugations (including reflexive)
• Basic verbs of motion with prefixes and without prefixes.
• Imperative form of main verbs.
• The concept of the aspect of the verb, the use of the perfect and imperfect verbs in the past and future tenses.
• Personal pronouns and their cases: interrogative, possessive, demonstrative, definite and negative pronouns.
• The use of cardinal numbers with nouns and ordinal numbers in nominative case.
• The use of adverbs.

In addition, students learn to make complex sentences and convert direct speech to indirect, that expand their communicative possibilities more. This level is essentially the foundation for all subsequent.
